Grant Application

The Weymouth Educational Foundation has been awarding grants to teachers since 1997. These grants have benefited every public school, and cover a wide variety of projects and subject matter.

Grant proposals must be postmarked by October 5, 2007 and mailed to:

Notification of decision will be made in writing by November 1, 2007.

Please read the following information.

AS A CONDITION OF THIS GRANT:

  1. All questions should be answered in a concise manner on the Grant Application.

  2. Consideration is given for programs based on their educational value, long term use and enrichment of existing programs. Items need not be purchased through Educational Catalogs. They may be purchased at local stores.

  3. Programs or projects started this school year and prior to the grant awards are eligible for consideration, but there is no guarantee of award.

  4. The Grant Reimbursement Form and supporting documents must be submitted by April 30, 2007 to receive reimbursement.

  5. All packing slips, invoices and receipts related to your grant must be submitted with the Reimbursement Form.                                                                         
  6. Equipment, supplies, programs or time frames cannot be altered once grants have been awarded without prior authorization from the grant committee.

  7. Grants are not awarded for field trips, transportation, any in school program (including Cultural Arts, Science presentations, etc.) staff development or consumables (ex: newspapers, office supplies, food, etc.).
