Since 1995

The Weymouth Educational Foundation, Inc. (WEF), was founded in 1995 by individuals who wanted more for our public school students. While the Foundation works closely with the School Department, it is an independent, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization financed by private individuals and corporate donations. The Foundation has no political agenda. On the contrary, we have only one item on our agenda: to help our children succeed.

Our mission is to enhance and broaden community support for public education and to provide private funding for innovative and challenging programs in the Weymouth Public Schools.

Our broad-based programs encompass every child in the school system and each one of them is a reason to get involved. Their future is our future. Together we can help shape that future.
